Academic Appeals
Reinstatement from Suspension
Any student on Academic Suspension must appeal for reinstatement; reinstatement is not automatic. Students must submit an application for reinstatement to the Academic Appeals Committee and submit an application for readmission through the Office of Admission. Students are required to apply for readmission to the College through the Office of Admission at the same time as they submit their application to the Academic Appeals Committee. Regardless of the appeal decision, students will not be able to re-enroll unless and until they have been re-admitted.

Grade Appeal
If a student believes a grade has been assigned incorrectly, the student may submit a formal academic appeal application to the Academic Appeals Committee. Appeal applications must be received prior to or within the first four weeks of the next regular semester of enrollment after the grade in question has been assigned.
Academic Appeal Dates
The Academic Appeals Committee holds hearings at regular intervals throughout the calendar year. Application materials are due by 5:00 p.m. EST on the indicated dates for full consideration.

- May 21, 2025 (Application deadline: May 16, 2025)
- July 2, 2025 (Application deadline: June 27, 2025)
- August 13, 2025 (Application deadline: August 08, 2025)
- January 7, 2026 (Application deadline: January 02, 2026)
Academic Appeals Committee Membership
The Academic Appeals Committee consists of faculty and staff appointed by the Provost to review student appeals of academic outcomes, including course grades and reinstatement after suspension from the College. Current Committee members are:
