Center for Teaching Excellence Application Requirements and Registration
The Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE) offers undergraduate-level courses that meet the needs of those with (1) a provisional teaching license who are seeking full licensure and those with (2) full teaching licenses seeking recertification. Admission Requirements, Application Process, and Registration
As a non-degree seeking student, you must submit a completed general application for admission, indicating that you are not seeking a degree.
If you’re a non-degree student, you may enroll for a maximum of seven (7) hours per semester. Students who already hold a bachelor’s degree or higher may take an unlimited number of hours per semester.
Additional Information
- If you are a non-degree seeking student, you are not eligible for financial aid, cannot reside in campus housing, and are not assigned an academic advisor.
- If you are a student who has been suspended from UVA Wise, you must appeal to the Academic Appeals Committee for permission to enroll as a non-degree seeking student.
