Research and Professional Development Funding Request for Faculty

The Office of Academic Affairs is pleased to support the professional activities of faculty who are seeking to advance in their disciplinary scholarship, in the dissemination of their knowledge or expertise in their fields, or in improvements in pedagogical approaches.  For pre-tenure faculty, who will be specifically evaluated on scholarly productivity during the tenure review, requests of up to $2000 (annually) will be considered. For all other faculty, requests of up to $1200 (annually) will be considered.

Requests for support to present at/attend conferences or for research materials will be accepted. For conferences, applications should be submitted a minimum of 3 weeks prior to the conference registration deadline. You may apply for funding even if you have not received confirmation that your abstract has been accepted or have not otherwise verified your attendance.
