Community Programs

We collaborate with area organizations to bring notable authors to the region for readings and writing workshops. Our programs have hosted such writers as Pulitzer winning authors Barbara Kingsolver and Rick Bragg, Poet Laureate and NY Times Bestselling novelist Silas House, novelist Ron Rash, poets Rita Quillen and Jane Hicks, essayist and editor Jason Howard, George Ella Lyon, Adriana Trigiani, Crystal Wilkinson, and more. (We should note that some of our own TC’s have gone on to become award-winning published poets, novelists, and nonfiction writers, as well.)
