Online Education Associate to Bachelor's Degree Program
If you’ve earned an associate degree (A.A., A.S. or A.A&S.) from the Virginia Community College System (VCCS) or college credit equal to an associate degree, you can transfer to UVA Wise and complete this major in just two years.
Building on its long-lasting legacy of excellence in teacher education, the University of Virginia’s College at Wise is proud to introduce an innovative Associate to Bachelor's (A2B) online program in Education. The offering will allow students who have earned an associate degree (A.A., A.S. or A.A&S.) to obtain their bachelor’s degree and teaching license in PK-6 and/or Special Education.
Program Structure
- Course format: Flexible online classes
- Teaching Endorsements: PreK-6 or Special Education K-12
- Can be completed in two years with full time status
- All students in the program will complete one semester of student teaching, which can be completed at your local K-12 school in Virginia
Admissions Requirements
- Associate of Arts (A.A.), Associate of Science (A.S.), Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.&S.) from an accredited institution
- Associate GPA of 2.5 or higher
