MetGo offers free transportation around the Town of Wise and the City of Norton. Learn more about the MetGo service.

Airport Shuttles

UVA Wise offers airport shuttles to the Tri-Cities Airport from campus and from the airport to campus. Students must pre-register using the “Shuttle Ride Form” under Student Forms in the student portal.

A shuttle ride costs $45 each direction. Spaces are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Fall 2024 Shuttle Dates:

• Leave campus, Nov 26, 4 p.m.
• Leave Tri-Cities, Dec 1, 4 p.m.
• Leave campus, Dec 13, noon
• Leave campus, Dec 14, 8 a.m.
• Leave Tri-Cities, Jan. 12th, 4 p.m.
• Leave Tri-Cities, Jan. 13th, 4 p.m.

Spring 2025 Shuttle Dates:

• March 7^th @ 4 p.m.  - Leave campus to airport (First half semester courses end)
• March 8^th @ 8 a.m. - Leave campus to airport (Residence Halls Close)
• March 16^th @ 4 p.m. - Leave aiport to campus (Residence Halls Reopen)
