Get Connected at UVA Wise
Welcome Week is an exciting mix of academic and co-curricular activities held each fall semester that signals the start of each academic year! The week encompasses a variety of events for new students, returning students, and the entire campus community.
Expedition
Learn more about the extended orientation experience for all new first-year students.
All new students, be sure that you have completed the following:
- Review the Academic Calendar, including the classes start date, in Students tab of the My.UVAWise Portal
- Review awards, tracking and info requests in Financial Aid tab of the My.UVAWise Portal
- Cavs Card photo upload for your official college ID & registration for a free campus mail box with Mail Services
- Vehicle decal/registration if you plan to bring a vehicle to campus
- Submit your required Pre-Entrance Health Packet
- iPad distribution information will be sent to your UVA Wise email
- Continue to check your UVA Wise email often & regularly for important reminders!
We will have extended hours as noted below for you to take care of business during move-in weekend:
EXTENDED HOURS
- Friday, August 16 - these offices will remain open until 6 pm
- Sunday, August 18 - these offices will be open 10 am-1 pm
